I have quite an appetite today, making chicken parm right now. Of course, I'm watching House again. My brother just delivered my cigarets. My dad just let me borrow his Ibanez acoustic guitar. I'm thinking I might learn a few things on youtube. It's a great tool for learning the guitar, there are thousands of videos available. I am hoping my website gets more hits. Here is the link if you haven't already seen it: Writing site.

Just enjoyed a nice cinnamon roll; I have been meaning to cook them for a while now. Also, have a nice cup of coffee and I'm watching House on Netflix. I think I have watched the entire season yesterday. It was about House going to rehab for his Vicodin addiction. He was hallucinating Amber and now she is gone due to his rehab. He completely stopped taking Vicodin. He is an ass but he is a genius. He cured half the people in his rehab all by himself. He is a natural leader. I must admit I definitely have been watching too much House. Not sure if it's good or a bad thing.
I went to catholic TV mass this morning. It's a recorded mass from Boston available on the internet. I like it. It makes me feel good. Okay, time for some more coffee. MMM, that's good. I just got back from a walk. It's beautiful outside. A light breeze and sunny, partly cloudy. When I returned my twin invited me over for coffee. I am going over there after I post this.
I have to put my computer in my room where the router is. For some reason, WIFI is not working all the time so I have to plug in a cord directly for the internet. At least it's working this way and I can continue my blogs, and facebook chat on the internet. If I unplug it, it really is a random thing if the internet WIFI works or not. It's a mystery. If the internet WIFI works I move my laptop and things to the main desk I have appointed it to. If it's not working, I have the computer where it is now, on top of a file cabinet in my bedroom.
I have been slacking on my writing. I need to edit my story and I also have been slacking on reading the fireman. Maybe because it is so confusing. Joe Hill added 5 characters in one chapter and they are doing pretty much nothing. Harper, the protagonist, was saved from her ex-husband who just recently tried to kill her because dragonscale is inevitable. Okay, back to my day....

Another morning
I decided to look at my Pinterest boards. I saved a few photos about narrator point of view and a list of how to write a good fiction. I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee (full sail mug) and also listening to my audiobook. There are so many characters in the fireman that it is getting to be a bit confusing. But, it is a great book. I love Joe Hill's style of writing and the narrator is excellent. Here is a pick from 2012.
I took that pic after I just got new glasses. I'm near sited so I need them to drive. I also love this picture of an old fashion typewriter. I can never understand how people could use them. I am so used to using a PC that using an old fashion keyboard I would make so many mistakes. No spell check, lol. No grammar check.
I have written a couple of chapters by the pen but I just use them as notes to type onto my PC. I have a great appreciation for those who can use this type of typewriter.

This afternoon
I woke up late today. I was a bit tired but I managed. I have coffee but no creamer or milk. I have drank black coffee before but I prefer a little milk. I do have groceries and I am thankful for that. So is Max...my brother gave him a Fancy Feast and he loved it.

Twin and Cat
Just spent a wonderful morning with my twin. I had to wait for my brother to bring me cigarets so I had spent most of the morning with my twin. He really is a good photographer. Most of the shots are of clouds that resemble something with a beautiful sunset. I looked at some other photos and he gave me a picture of my dad and I. It is when we were picking up my Nana (age 91) last year. It has a nice American flag in the background. I wish I could upload the picture. I at least have an old picture of my previous cat named Margarita. She was such a cute mix. I thought I would add the kaleidoscope feature but it does make the picture look a little crazy; it must have been taken over 3 years ago. It felt like only yesterday. Isn't that weird how pictures can bring back the past and even I can remember the smells and other senses from just looking at the picture. No, it's not kitty litter smell it's just the smell of a nicely cleaned home.
Margarita was such a domesticated and civilized cat compared to my cat now. My cat now is feral and I have to be on guard 24-7. He's like a tiger or lion...never know when he will snap. I know because I can read him pretty well after taking care of him for over 5 years. He is a handful yet I love him. I could never let him go because I know the next owner wouldn't put up with his feral ways. My parents think I should just let him go in their backyard and he'll be in heaven. I disagree because I have tried to domesticate him for years and now he may be overwhelmed out in the wilderness. Maximus Jameson is such a good name for him. He should wield a sword or something like a Greek god. He thinks he's god or the king of this house and I have been beginning to agree with him. I have to scoop his poop like a slave for him lol. Max has attacked me before when I went to lie down. That time was scary because I read him completely wrong one night. He was in play mode and I thought he was winding down and all of sudden he attacked my head while I was trying to sleep. He gashed my nose and scratched me to the point of maybe stitches. It was close to my eye but thankfully he backs down if I say NO NO. I've since recovered and I have a nasty scar but that was the only time I questioned his sanity. It's not him who was crazy it was me who played with him in his cat tunnel and bird toy then forgot and laid down. He has been nothing but good since then. I know when he's playing and he knows when I'm sleeping. He just joined me recently in a nap and laid on top of my chest snuggling and wiping his scent all over my nose and ear. His purr was calming.
They say cats are therapeutic and I agree. He gives me a sense of calm throughout the day. A companion who showers and maintains himself better than any dog would. I don't have to take him for walks, I don't have to shower him and I don't have to pick up his shit from the side of the road (it conveniently is all in one spot: the litter box.) He is a pain in the ass but he is pure bliss when he has been fed and pet. I hope everyone who has a cat and it's feral I can feel your pain. I understand that you love your cat and that you and only you can be trusted (you are the one who feeds him/her).
Another thing is it's not safe to really roam around the house without socks or pants. He literally thinks its playtime if I am walking around bare-legged. But if I have shoes on he knows better then to attack. He hasn't attacked my legs in a very long time, but I remember he attacked my ex-wife's legs like it was Christmas. Poor thing didn't know when to stop. The one thing I liked about my ex-wife was that she was willing to take him home with her to Ft. Lauderdale and to have him stay with her parents while I was on deployment. Yes, he did send my mother in law to the hospital and they also blame Max for the death of their other cat (she was severely depressed and had intense anxiety and they had to put her down).I think that is what happened but at least their other cat had no problem with Max. There were two kings in that household for a couple months. Max survived and now he's safe home with me in Sanford Florida.
I've been slacking on his litter box and I will be doing that chore daily. It's very important to be resilient in the task of scooping cat shit. If it's not clean, the cats paws arent clean and if the cats paws arent clean the kitchen counter top is not clean. See where i'm going with this? So I am more deligent in the task, even though I hate it; it has to be done.
Enough about cats, let's talk about how I just got a new book in the mail. NYPD RED 2. I opened the book and the words look so large compared to the fireman by Joe Hill. Once I finish Joe Hills book I will start James Patterson's NYPD Red series. Im excited. Let me know what you think of this post. I'm eager for feedback.
Max says hi and thanks for listening to the cat stories...LOL.

Dragonscale
Another good morning. Coffee and House and now I have added The Fireman written by Joe Hill. It is a weird book. People catch a thing called Dragonscale where a beautiful tattoo is a contagious epidemic. Once you have Dragonscale you will set on fire if you are stressed. It is more about Harper, the protagonist, with Dragonscale, who has just got pregnant and is contemplating whether she will survive long enough to have the baby. Jacob, her boyfriend, has got the Dragonscale on his foot, supposedly. I will continue to post blogs about the book as I further read on. It will take a lot of coffee and a lot of concentration. I'm on page 65 and I can't put the book down. It is a page turner and I am listening to the audiobook as well as reading from the physical book.
I'm waiting for my copy of NYPD Red 2, written by James Patterson, to arrive in the mail. I already got a copy of NYPD Red 1, and have stowed it on the book shelf where I am collecting novels.

Early Morning
Good Morning.
The best thing about waking up early is being able to get a lot of things done. It's good to have a routine. I start the day out with a cup of coffee and the news. Okay, not the news...I have been watching House M.D. But I do have coffee. I also have a nice breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. I keep putting off writing so I need to just chip away at that. First things first. Laundry, dishes, and that damn litter box. Next, is taking meds as prescribed and then more coffee. If I can edit a little each day the job will get done. The first couple of chapters will be in the book, no pun intended. Like I said earlier, a routine is important. If I can just put editing into the routine the writing will get done. As you can see I have added blogging to my routine. I will keep this blog going as part of my routine.
I also have an interview tomorrow to work on the drunken odyssey website. I am not sure how it will go but I hope it goes well. Wish me luck. It's at Fullsail University. I've had a few roaches come out at night. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and when I do I see those critters on the counter and kitchen area. I have pest control coming tomorrow. Another thing that I have added to my routine is facebook. I love connecting with old friends. I was able to chat with a friend who is now a SGT police officer. He seems to be very interested in my writing as I write about the police. I also get to keep up with where everyone is now and what they are up to. Facebook messenger keeps everyone close even when they are so far away.
Maybe ill add the news to my routine. Even Stephen King watches the news every morning before he writes. I just got an audible version of The Fireman written by Joe Hill. I plan on starting the review on my computer rather than on paper. So I can practice typing.

2017
So I woke up today and had a smoke. Okay, maybe a few and I was thinking I have a health and wellness degree and I am being a hypocrite. I need to get back to the gym and back on supplements like N.O. explode and BSN's products. They seemed to help before and I think they will help again. I look around at my apartment and I see a weight bench with an Olympic sized bar. I have dumbbells and plenty of weights to put on the bar. Its great for bench press free form and wide bench press. I will be keeping up with this blog as it has been years since my last post. The more I keep a journal/blog the more attention I will put towards working out and exercising.
That's not all I am working on. I have to work more on editing my story. My friend from highschool is a police officer now and he is going to help me write my novel. How? He is a police officer and knows the current way things work. My story is set in Orlando and there are two detectives trying to crack a robbery spree that has occurred. Im thinking of adding the first draft to my website.
